26 die in truck crash in Tibet

TWENTY-SIX people died and nine were injured when a truck crashed in Tibet Autonomous Region on Saturday, police said.
Investigations showed that the accident, in Sangri County in southern Tibet's Shannan Prefecture, was caused by brake failure. The truck, with 35 people onboard, was heading for Samye Monastery in Zhanang County.
