2-year-old girl tortured by dad, his girlfriend

A man admitted to beating his two-year-old daughter in anger, causing her arm fractures and leg bruises, but he insisted that the girl's torn vagina and renal failure had nothing to do with him and his girlfriend.
The girl, named Yiyi, suffered injuries in her kidneys, liver, heart and vagina. Her hands had scratching wounds and there were bruises all over her body, said doctors in the city of Zhuhai in southern Guangdong Province.
Yiyi didn't urinate for 11 days until yesterday, indicating her kidneys were recovering. But she was still in critical condition, doctors told the News Express.
The poor girl is going to have a surgery within one week to treat her arm fractures, but her vagina damage cannot be repaired until she grows up, the doctors said.
Her ill-tempered father surnamed Zhang was divorced from Yiyi's mother and was living with his girlfriend who was suspected of child abuse, according to their neighbors.
