3 dead, 4 injured in SW China apartment blast

THREE people were killed and another four were injured in a blast in an apartment early Monday morning in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said.
The blast, which occurred at around 2:30 a.m., ripped through the fourth floor apartment on Ziyun Street in Chuxiong City, the authorities said.
The injured people have been hospitalized, and the cause of the explosion is under investigation.
