3 die, 1 missing in gas tanker fire

THREE people died, one was missing and 14 were injured and after a truck bumped into a gasoline tanker at around midnight, causing a fire that engulfed six vehicles in Anqing City in east China’s Anhui Province, firefighters said.

A truck loaded with refrigerators hit a tanker truck carrying 29 tons of gasoline at around 12am today. Gasoline leaked and triggered the fire.

The 14 injured were hospitalized, although their conditions were not reported. One was still missing as the rescue operation was winding up today, CCTV news reported.
