3 inmates escape from NE China prison with gun after killing cop

THREE inmates escaped from a police detention center after killing a guard in northern China this morning.

Harbin police have launched a manhunt for Gao Yulun, Li Haiwei and Wang Damin, who fled with a police gun after killing the guard in the capital city of Heilongjiang Province, New Evening News reported.

The inmates were wearing police uniforms when they escaped from the detention center in Yanshou County around 6am, the report said.
