3 officials suspended after leak of test paper
THREE officials in charge of a provincial government recruitment test have been suspended from their posts after a test paper was leaked online.
Li Lierong, Tang Changman and He Lishun, of the human resource authority in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, were suspended for failing to prevent the leak of a paper classified as a state secret. The Guangxi government had launched an investigation after 707 test takers had suspiciously high scores.
A couple suspected of publishing the test paper online were caught in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, last Thursday, yesterday's Southern Metropolis Daily reported.
They were accused of putting the recruitment test for government workers online hours before it was held on January 16.
The couple, both teachers at a training school in Guangxi for test sitters, told police they published the test and answers to help their students get high scores, the newspaper said.
An announcement of the recruitment test results, due this week, has been postponed.
