30 trapped in coal mine gas outburst in Henan

MORE than 30 miners were trapped underground after a gas outburst happened in a colliery in central China's Henan Province today.
The accident took place at about 6am in a pit owned by Pingyu Coal & Electric Co. Ltd. based in Yuzhou City, officers of the company said.
Rescue operation is underway.
