4 children among blaze attack victims
SEVEN people, including four children, died yesterday in a suspected arson attack in east China's Jiangxi Province, according to local firefighters.
Flames were spotted coming from a house in Longgang Village in Ganzhou's Shicheng Country at about 3:45am, an officer with the local fire department said.
A couple and their four children were killed in the blaze, the officer said, and an unidentified person, who was believed to have started the fire, also died.
The ages of the children are not yet known.
The fire ripped through an area measuring 100 square meters. Police have launched an investigation.
