4 dead as van slams into vegetable market

Four people were killed and four others injured when a van crashed into a wholesale vegetable market this morning in Baoding City, Hebei Province, China News Service reported.

The van crashed into a crowd of vegetable dealers. One vendor was killed at the scene and three other people were pronounced dead after medical treatment, the report said.

Three transport vehicles were also destroyed in the crash.

Police reportedly said they believe driver fatigue was to blame for the crash but added their investigation will continue.
