FOUR died and five were injured after a blast triggered by gas leak in a restaurant in Anshan City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, authorities said late yesterday.
The blast occurred at around 3:20 am yesterday in the restaurant on the first floor of a residential building on ShengouRoad in Lishan district, the Anshan city government said.
The dead were staff of a neighboring shop and residents on the second floor. The injured were sent to hospital.
An initial investigation showed the blast was caused by gas leak.
