4 under ‘coercive measures’

FOUR officials have been placed under “coercive measures” or indicted for bribery, prosecutors said yesterday.
They are Lian Ziheng, former secretary general of the standing committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress; Xu Shuangyong, former Party chief of Xining Qinghai-Tibet Railway Co Ltd; Meng Gang, former police commissioner of Xinxiang in Henan Province; and Wang Shiyi, a former Wuhan Party chief.
Coercive measures include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest.
