AN earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale jolted the borders of north China's Hebei Province and Tianjin at 3:05am today, the China Earthquake Networks Center announced.
The epicenter, 9km in depth, was located in the bordering area between Yutian County in Hebei's Tangshan City and Tianjin, the earthquake monitor said.
