4.8-magnitude quake hits Sichuan

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale jolted Pengzhou, a city in southwestern Sichuan Province at 0:46am this morning, the China Earthquake Networks Center said.
The epicenter, 18 kilometers underground, was monitored at 31.3 degrees North Latitude and 103.7 degrees East Longitude.
So far, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
The quake was felt in Chengdu, the provincial capital. Many residents woke up from sleep and ran out into the streets in pajamas.
