Five local officials are being investigated for bribery, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate said yesterday.
They were named as Wu Wenyuan, head of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region’s rural credit cooperative; Li Bao, vice director of Hebei Province’s environmental protection department; and three former Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region officials — Yang Youming, former transport vice director, Jia Fenqiang, former public security vice director, and Zhou Jinzhu, former information technology office deputy head.
