FIVE children drowned in a tank filled with rainwater on Tuesday at Guigang City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the city's public security bureau said yesterday.
Police said six children, including the five dead - two girls and three boys aged between four and 11 - had been playing at a construction site. Five accidentally fell into the unused septic tank, while the sixth, a 11-year-old boy, ran for help.
