5 killed, 21 injured in car blast attack
A car explosion killed five people and injured 21 others in a village in south China's Guangdong Province yesterday. Three died at the scene and two later in hospital.
The incident happened at about 2pm in Litianshang Village in the city of Zhanjiang.
A man in his 50s surnamed Chen has confessed to the crime that targeted the family of his second divorced wife, a spokesman said. Chen had driven a car loaded with explosives into the village intent on revenge, he added.
