5 killed in collapse

FIVE people were killed and another four injured after a factory building collapsed on the outskirts of Jinan on Saturday. The building was part of a factory under renovation.
The collapse occurred at about 3:30pm on Saturday in Jinan, Shandong Province, trapping nine people in the debris. As of 7am yesterday, rescuers had found seven people — three killed and four sent to hospital. The injured were in stable condition, local authorities said yesterday. The bodies of the remaining two were found later. Police have detained those involved in the accident for questioning.
