5.0-magnitude quake hits China's Xinjiang

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the city of Atux in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 2:50pm Saturday (Beijing Time), the China Earthquake Networks Center said.

The epicenter was monitored at 40.2 degrees north latitude and 77.3 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 km, according to the center.
