5.5-magnitude quake hits China's Yunnan: CENC

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Cangyuan County in southwest China's Yunnan Province at 6:24pm today (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter was monitored at 23.5 degrees north latitude and 98.9 degrees east longitude, and the focus of the quake was 11 kilometers deep, the center said in a statement.
