SIX people died after a chemical plant blast in northwest China's Gansu Province, company executives said yesterday.
The blast occurred on Thursday afternoon at the plant run by the Lanzhou Chemical Company near the provincial capital of Lanzhou.
One seriously injured person is in a critical condition.
