7 collapse outside newspaper’s office after drinking unknown liquid

SEVEN people were rushed to the hospital after drinking an unidentified liquid and collapsing outside China Youth Daily’s office this morning in Beijing.

China Youth Daily said on its Weibo microblog that the incident occurred at about 8:10am outside its office building in Dongcheng District.

Police are investigating the case and the newspaper is calling on the public to come forward with information about the individuals involved.
