7 people missing in Hubei quarry blast
SEVEN workers were buried yesterday evening in a landslide triggered by a quarry explosion in central China's Hubei Province, local authorities said today.
The accident occurred at about 7 p.m. at the Diaoxiyan Quarry in Xingshan County, Yichang City, where seven workers were making detonators, according to the information office of Xingshan county government.
All the seven were buried in the landslide. They were still missing early today, according to the office.
Investigation into the accident is underway.
