AT least eight people were killed and 24 others injured in a traffic accident in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region this morning, local police said.
The accident took place at about 7 am in Pingguo County of Baise City, leaving eight people dead on the spot, according to the Public Security Bureau of Baise.
Police were investigating the accident.
