8 missing in landslide

EIGHT people are missing after a landslide triggered by rain in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province yesterday, local authorities said. A seven-story residential building collapsed just before noon in Ankang’s Maoping Township, according to officials. The building houses 39 people from 11 families. Rescue efforts are underway.
