EIGHT people were trapped after a tunnel collapsed on Friday morning in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, local authorities said.
The accident happened at about 10:20 am at a tunnel near the city of Baoji, said an official from the provincial fire control authority.
Rescuers are rushing to the site of the accident.
