9 killed, 11 injured as van rolls over cliff
AN overloaded van fell off a cliff in southwestern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region this morning, killing five children and four adults, China National Radio reported.
The nine-seat van was carrying 20 people when it tumbled down a mountainside at about 6am in Dahua County, leaving nine dead and 11 hospitalized.
The driver surnamed Lan has a driving license, the report said.
Authorities are now identifying the dead victims and investigating the cause of the accident.
