RESCUERS are searching for nine people missing after a boat sank on a river in Guizhou Province yesterday, local authorities said. The accident took place at 10:10am on the Qingshui River in Jianhe County.
Forty people were on board. So far, 31 have been pulled out of the water. The boat has a registered capacity of 18 people.
