92 Pupils Ill After Eating School Lunch
NINETY-TWO primary school students have fallen ill after eating lunches provided by a local food company in the city of Jinzhou, in northeast China's Liaoning Province, local authorities said yesterday.
Students at the Pinghe Primary School showed symptoms of stomachaches, dizziness, nausea and vomiting late on Wednesday after eating the lunch and were sent to hospital, a district government spokesman said.
Many were diagnosed with food poisoning and 10 were still in hospital yesterday, the spokesman said. An investigation in under way.
