All 10 survive group suicide attempt in Beijing

TEN people were poisoned after they attempted to commit suicide by drinking pesticides yesterday morning in the national capital’s Haidian District, Beijing Youth Daily reported today.
They vomited and fell to the ground after they drank pesticides. Some seemed panicky and some were unconscious. None said anything about why they tried to end their lives, witnesses said.
They were rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment, escorted by police. They were on intravenous drips yesterday afternoon and none was sent to the intensive care unit. Doctors didn’t give details about their current condition.
Some of them had a northeastern accent, and they wore T-shirts printed with Harbin Railways Bureau, the newspaper said.
