Ancient tombs unearthed

A GROUP of tombs dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) has been discovered in central China’s Henan Province. The 200,000-square-meter site comprises 200 tombs, eight horse and chariot pits, 30 ash pits and 10 kilns. The remains of a city dating back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) were also found.
