Another senior official from the Ministry of Railways is being investigated by the country's disciplinary watchdog as an anti-corruption probe into the industry continues.
Party officials have put Su Shunhu, former vice director of the Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Railways, under "double designation" status, business news Website portal Eeo.com.cn reported today.
Su is now expected to admit his wrongdoings in a designated place at a designated time.
The report cited a source who accused Su of accepted real estate in Beijing as a gift from a mine owner from the Inner Mongolia Autunomous Region in return for providing favors in the railway transportation business.
