CHINA ended an anti-terrorism exercise yesterday that was aimed at improving its ability to deal with possible terrorist attacks and other emergencies during National Day celebrations in October.
In the final drill in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, "terrorists" attempted to occupy a chemical plant and conduct attacks. Under the coordination of anti-terror headquarters, special police and armed police arrived and "killed" most of the "terrorists" and rescued workers.
