Armed robber who shot 3 dead seized in Nanjing

A gunman who killed three people in two robberies has been captured by police in eastern Jiangsu Province and the robbed money has been seized.
The culprit surnamed Wei shot a victim inside his car in Zhenjiang City on February 29 and killed two others in another robbery in Nanjing City on March 2, the Ministry of Public Security said in a statement today.
Wei was arrested in his home in Nanjing on Monday and has confessed to his crimes. But no details are provided as the police investigation is ongoing, the statement said.
The ministry said the number of shooting cases across the country fell 46.8 percent last year to a record low.
