A GROUP of artists staged a brief protest against the demolition of an art zone in downtown Beijing yesterday afternoon, police and witnesses said.
More than 10 artists, including Ai Weiwei, rallied on Chang'an Avenue, expressing discontent over the demolition of the Chuangyi Zhengyang Art Zone in the city's Chaoyang District.
