AT least 10 people were dead or injured in a fire that seized a real estate project in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province, this afternoon, Xinhua learned from fire fighters at the scene.
It was still not known how or when the fire began, or who the victims were.
Flames engulfed the Wanda Plaza in Tiexi District of Shenyang earlier in the afternoon.
The plaza is a new development project of the Wanda Group, a private company that invests in real estate, hotels and department stores in many Chinese cities.
