At least two die in bus blast
AT least two people have died and more than 10 were injured when an airport shuttle bus exploded this afternoon in central China's Hunan Province.
The blast happened about 4pm when the full bus was on its way from Huanghua airport to the downtown area in Changsha City, rednet.cn reported today.
At least two people died and more than 10 were injured in the blaze, the local official news website said.
The bus was burnt down to its framework when firefighters put out the flames. A passenger surnamed Wang was quoted by the report saying he saw a man in the
back seats trying to light up his canvas bag which smelt like gasoline.
Wang said the man jumped out of the bus about one minute before it exploded.
This is the second bus explosion this month in China. On July 4, 24 steel workers were killed and 19 were injured when fire engulfed a steel company shuttle bus in east China's Jiangsu Province.
