Barking dog strangled by angry burglar
A pet Bichon Frise was believed to have been strangled to death and thrown from a high-rise apartment by a burglar in Beijing early Sunday, Beijing Times reported today.
The family believed the thief was the same person which broke into their home in the wee hours of October 5, but the burglary was driven away by their dog, Tao Tao, who barked loudly to awake its masters.
Evidences showed the thief took the same route to enter the apartment around 3:30am on Sunday. The family woke up to barking of Tao Tao.
The thief escaped again but the dog was missing. It was not until in the afternoon that the family found Tao Tao's body downstairs. The family said the dog was strangled before being thrown out by the thief.
