Bathroom collapse kills 5, injures 12

Five people were killed and another 12 injured after the dividing floor of a two-story public bathroom in central China's Henan Province collapsed yesterday evening, local authorities said today.

The accident happened at about 6 pm yesterday in Guguzhai Township, Xinxiang County, according to the county government's publicity department.

The injured people are in stable conditions and are receiving treatment in local hospitals.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
