Beijing police detain 17 over pornographic videos

SEVENTEEN people have been detained on suspicion of rape after more than 100 pornographic videos, involving more than 30 Chinese children, were posted online, Beijing Times reported.
It was the first crackdown against a gang in Beijing for posting pornographic content on an overseas website, the newspaper said.
A 19-year-old university student, surnamed Sun, had uploaded the videos to a website operated out of China.
Police found most of the girls in the videos were from remote countryside in China. They report said the videos were made when they were raped or molested. Some of the videos were 1- minutes long.
The girls were lured with candy or toys to rooms, woods or vehicles where they were raped or molested.
