Beijing shopping mall evacuated after bomb threats as probe continues

A SHOPPING mall complex in Beijing was cordoned off by police about 10:30am today after bomb threats were received, The Beijing News reported.

The Longde Square shopping mall, in Changping District, was still closed by police this afternoon, the newspaper said.

“People kept running out of the shopping mall about 10:30am after someone said bomb threats had been made,” a merchant told the newspaper. Police evacuated the building.
