TEMPERATURES in most areas north of the Yangtze River will drop below freezing point this morning, while south of the river the highest will plunge to 10 degrees Celsius, national weathermen said yesterday.
Yesterday, temperatures dropped markedly in most parts of north China. In Beijing it was around 6 degrees below freezing, a drop of 12 degrees in a day.
