Betrayed woman exposes mayor-lover's scam online

THE letter of a woman who claims to be a mistress of a mayor in Guangdong Province has been circling online, revealing the official's affairs with several women along with photos, Shanghai Morning Post reported today.
The unnamed woman, a journalist, accused Chen Yachun, vice mayor of Maoming City, of being a "big liar" and sexually abusing her for seven years. She claimed she had videos and evidence of his corruption to support the allegation, the report said.
Maoming government spokesman said they had no idea about the letter and the mayor's office denied the letter's content. Guangdong disciplinary department said they had noticed the online post but could not make any comment before reporting it to supervisors, the report said.
Chen's secretary told local media Monday that Chen also read the post but said it was untrue and reported the case to the police and the city government. The secretary said she doubted the nude photo belonged to Chen.
The woman said Chen got her drunk and raped her. He begged her not to call the police, sobbed out the story of his miserable marriage and promised to marry her. It was not until recently that she found he is still married.
