FOUR people died and four were injured in an explosion at a pharmaceuticals factory in Haikou City in south China yesterday, local authorities said.
The blast occurred around 11am at Hainan Huigu Pharmaceutical Co Ltd. An initial investigation found that the explosion was caused by materials containing alcohol. The injured are said to be in a stable condition.
