Domestic action movie 鈥淲olf Warrior 2鈥 topped the Chinese box office in the week ending August 6, grossing 2.2 billion yuan (US$ 321 million). Domestic romance 鈥淥nce upon a Time鈥 as in second place on 425 million yuan. 鈥淭he Founding of an Army,鈥 depicting the Chinese revolutionary war, was in third place, earning 129 million yuan. Animation 鈥淒espicable Me 3鈥 was fourth, generating 27 million yuan. Rounding out the top five was domestic animation 鈥淒ear Tutu,鈥 which grossed 13 million yuan.
