Box office winner

“Goodbye Mr Loser,” a romantic comedy about one man’s journey to find true love, ruled China’s box office in the week ending October 11, pulling in 632.4 million yuan (US$99.5 million). Comedy “Lost in Hong Kong” came in second, with 221.9 million yuan during the week. “Chronicles of the Ghostly Tribe,” an action-thriller by Lu Chuan, director of “City of Life and Death,” was third, earning 193.6 million yuan in the same period.
