POLICE in Sichuan Province are investigating a traffic accident in which a five-year-old boy was knocked down by a truck on his way home and rolled over by the same truck again when he managed to stand up.
The boy died at the scene in Luzhou City on Thursday morning after being dragged for 10 meters. A witness named Zhang Shifen told the Luzhou Evening Post that the truck first hit the boy as he walked on the roadside. She said the boy stood up and the truck backed up a little and suddenly went forward again and ran him over.
