Boy found dead in debris dumped by truck

AN 11-year-old boy riding on a bicycle was found dead near a dump truck on Wednesday in Wuxi city, Jiangsu Province, the Yangtze Evening News reported today.
The boy’s death was discovered when residents spotted his foot sticking out of piles of construction debris that had been dumped by a truck at a construction site in the city’s suburbs.
It was not clear how the boy died.
Police said the boy’s head was severely fractured and his bicycle was damaged.
No warning signs were seen around the construction site, and the road is partly open, the report said.
The boy’s parents are migrants to Wuxi, running a seed shop not far from the accident site. The family had planned to go home for the coming Spring Festival.
The truck driver, in his 60s, was being questioned.
