Boy found with broken leg, knife wounds after going missing

A 6-year-old boy was found with a broken leg and knife wounds on Monday after he went missing a day earlier in Zhengzhou, capital city of Henan Province, Henan Business Daily reported today.

The boy living in Wangfufen Village was being taken care of by his uncle when he went out after having dinner around 8pm on Sunday. He wasn’t found until early morning the next day.

His uncle found him covered in blood at the gate of a wet market with the help of his neighbors. He found six knife wounds on the boy. The boy was taken to a hospital where doctors found he had multiple fractures on his right leg and a ruptured tendon on his right hand.

The report didn’t say how the boy sustained the injuries. Police said they are investigating the case.
