Boy loses spleen as 4 injured in Beijing Carrefour knife attack

FOUR people were stabbed injured by a man inside a Carrefour store in China's capital city, Beijing, about 11:40am today.
The victims included two boys. Local media reported that a 2-year-old boy was heavily injured and his spleen was already removed in the surgery. His mother kept crying while waiting at the local children's hospital, it's reported.
Intestines were exposed from the boy's heavily-injured abdomen, local media reported.
Beijing police previously said the victims included three males and a female.
The other victims were now confirmed as a 12-year-old boy, who was stabbed in his back, a 24-year-old man with injured chest and waist as well as a woman suffering severe chest wounds.
Police said the knife attacks took place on the second level of the Carrefour store in Maliandao area.
The suspect was seized on the scene. He is identified by police as a 50-year-old Beijing local resident.
The store had been shut down.
A man stabbed dead two pedestrians, including a foreigner, last Wednesday afternoon, at the Chaoyang Joy City in Beijing .
The investigation showed the man suffered mental disorder.
