Brothers push mom to take a holiday
TWO brothers have pushed their 81-year-old mother in a cart on a 2.400-kilometer holiday from their home to Fuzhou in east China's Fujian Province.
Wang Kai, 59, and Wang Rui, 57, are staying with their mother in Fuzhou while waiting for entry documents to Taiwan, their final destination, today's Straits Times newspaper reported.
They were invited to visit the island after a Taiwanese tour agency heard about the family's epic 7,000-kilometer walk from their home in Harbin in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province to Hong Kong in 2007 and 2008.
The brothers started traveling with their mother after their father died. They said they were grateful to her for bringing them up alone.
